Our History
Walter Mork Company was established in 1909 by a Finnish immigrant who also distinguished himself as a Berkeley City Councilman for 20 years and was instrumental in the establishment of the Berkeley Aquatic Park.
Walter Mork Company has always maintained a strong community focus. We welcome customers both big and small, and pride ourselves on being the most versatile shop in the area with a very wide range of expertise and experience. The company has continued to be run by the Mork family, and is now in its fourth generation with five family members currently involved in the business.
